Hawking Launches New Supercomputer
The most powerful supercomputer in Europe came online today. The COSMOS supercomputer was manufactured by SGI and is the first of its kind. The consortium of COSMOS has a program which aims to advance understanding of the universe and to help test our mathematical predictions and to run simulations.
