What I post on this blog, mostly anything and everything. I am going to try and post more personal things as that is the purpose of a blog after all.

anticapitalist:

Warren vs. Brown voter guide

My heart sinks a little each time I hear that Elizabeth Warren is only running neck-and-neck with Scott Brown in the Massachusetts Senate race. The inane flap over Warren’s ancestry is so irrelevant, I felt compelled to draw a cartoon simply reminding people that there are actual issues at stake. Warren is as unimpeachable a character in politics as you’re going to find. If even Massachusetts can’t realize that, then this country is truly toast (I won’t even get into what happened in Wisconsin).
I drew this in a motel room in Pecos, Texas, where I suspect such cartooning activity may have been illegal. Oh well. To give credit where credit is due, I lifted the “comparative list” format from my colleague Ward Sutton, who masterfully employed it all the time when he did a weekly strip.
